Field Groups
Field Groups are part of Listing (Content) Types and each Field Group contains custom fields.
There are two types of field groups:
- Listing Field Groups
- Review Field Groups
Each listing type can have one or many Field Groups.

When creating new Field Group, make sure you select the Type you need:
Listing Field Groups
Listing field group will contain listing custom fields - those are the fields that are used to add additional information for your listings.
Examples
Product listings:
- 'Brand' field group - containing fields for manufacturer information
- 'Features' field group - containing fields for products features
- 'Shopping' field group - containing fields for advertising links
Company listings:
- 'Address' field group - for address custom fields
- 'Info' field group - for information regarding services or products
- 'Shopping' field group - containing fields for advertising links
Field groups that you want to use on more then one Listing Type, for example 'Shopping' field group, need to be created only once, because you can assign a certain field group for many different Listing Types.
Review Field Groups
Review field group will contain custom fields for user and editor reviews.
Review fields are mostly used to ask reviewers for their experience with the listing they are reviewing.
You can also ask users for information about themselves so others reading their reviews know whether the reviewer is similar to them.
Examples
Product listing reviews:
- 'Product Experience' field group - ask reviewers for pros and cons of the product they are reviewing.
- 'About Me' field group - ask reviewers about their age/age range, interests, level of expertise, ...
Company listing reviews:
- 'Review' field group - ask reviewers are they satisfied with the company's services or products
By default, title of the Field Group will be displayed on your site above the custom fields. If you don't want do display it, uncheck it in "Show title" column.
